Kristy Burrows – Practice Manager

Kristy Burrows is the Practice Manager at Yarra Ranges Lawyers, having established the business almost ten years ago. Yarra Ranges Lawyers has grown under Kristy’s stewardship to today include a team of highly skilled and experienced lawyers, conveyancers, clerks and support staff, providing a range of legal services including commercial & business law, commercial leasing, property law, conveyancing, wills and estates, retirement, aged care, trusts and self-managed super funds.


Kristy’s long and loyal list of return and new clients benefit from her intrinsic value of people being at the heart of everything they do as she has ensured that this value is shared by her entire team as part of her HR philosophy.


Whilst stepping out of practice to focus on the business, Kristy’s past experiences working in both the legal and property professions, her Bachelor of Law (LLB honours) that she obtained in 2004, and her almost decade spent building this firm, will support her to ensure that Yarra Ranges Lawyers continues to provide excellent service from real people delivering the best outcomes possible for their clients.

Chantel Graham – Principal

 

Chantel Graham is the Principal lawyer of Yarra Ranges Lawyers, bringing with her more than 15 years’ experience and a vast understanding of property and commercial matters.

 

Having started her career working as a lawyer with a sole practitioner in 2008 where she undertook a variety of commercial work including commercial documents, employment contracts, wills and estates and property matters, Chantel moved to M+K Lawyers in 2010, working in the property department and becoming an associate after just 1 year at that firm. 

 

In 2015, she was head-hunted by a development company where she became their in-house Counsel continuing to work on various property and commercial matters before deciding to start her own practice in 2018.   

 

Chantel's role at Yarra Ranges Lawyers will be to oversee staff to ensure compliance with their legal obligations.

 


 

Leanne Lawrence

James Morrison – Lawyer


Property Lawyer 

James Morrison brings a wealth of knowledge to our clients in both law and finance, having completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce.


Having spent some time working in the finance industry in various financial controller roles, James has returned to practicing law, working in the areas of commercial and business law, and wills and estate planning. James can draw on his financial background as well as his legal qualifications to achieve the best outcomes for clients.


James is local to the Yarra Valley and is heavily involved in the netball community as a high level netball umpire.


James’ specialty areas of practice include: Commercial & Business Law, Wills & Estate Planning, Retail & Commercial Leasing, Dispute Resolution.

Michelle Marks

Probate Law Clerk

 

With over 30 years legal industry experience in Wills and Probate, Conveyancing and Commercial matters, Michelle believes our point of difference is excellent personalised customer service, attention to detail and working effectively to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.

 

Sharing great empathy with our client’s journey Michelle thrives on the opportunity to help our clients navigate through the challenge of finalising a loved family member’s Estate matter. Michelle works with a hands-on compassionate, common sense and problem solving approach to ensure all matters proceed as smoothly as possible.

 

Michelle’s family was raised in the local area and she was keenly involved in her children’s schooling, karate club, basketball and riding clubs. Michelle enjoys volunteering with the RSPCA, Animal Aid and the Soup Van. When at home, Michelle love spending time with family, friends and her menagerie of animals.


Michelle’s specialty areas include: Probate and Estate Administration.



 

Belinda Tabone

Belinda Tabone – Conveyancing and Legal Support

Belinda Tabone has been part of Yarra Ranges Lawyers since we began!  She brings a high standard of Conveyancing and Legal Support to the team.


Bringing a wealth of knowledge to her role, Belinda completed an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Conveyancing) in 2010, worked in a legal secretarial support role for more than 5 years, and has worked in Bookkeeping and Accounts Manager positions throughout her career.



Belinda is driven by a passion and commitment that is evidenced not just in her work but also in her personal life.  Having lived locally with her family for many years, she is very active within the community holding various voluntary roles across football, basketball and her children’s school.


Belinda’s specialty area is: Conveyancing.

Leanne Lawrence

Nicole Scott - Conveyancing

With over 27 years of experience in the conveyancing industry, Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.


She obtained her Diploma of Financial Services (Conveyancing) from RMIT in 2010 and has since managed a diverse range of property transactions with professionalism and attention to detail. Outside of her professional role, Nicole has dedicated the past 20 years to volunteering in creche duty at Life Ministry Church, caring for babies and toddlers.


She is also a devoted “favourite” Aunty to her niece and nephew, and cherishes time spent with family and friends—often baking treats to share.


An avid lover of the outdoors, Nicole enjoys walking on the beach, exploring the bush, and tending to her garden. She also values quiet moments, especially those spent with a morning coffee and a good book on a winter’s day.


Glenda Thompson

Michelle Le Grew - Conveyancing

Michelle Le Grew is committed to delivering excellent service to her clients that is backed by more than 25 years of experience in conveyancing.


Michelle has seen significant changes within the conveyancing industry over the years, and in fact, in how people access legal services.  Her broad range of skills combined with her pragmatic and personal approach ensures she continues to make property transactions a smooth, stress free process for her clients.


An asset to Yarra Ranges Lawyers, Michelle brings a commitment to good old-fashioned etiquette and her thorough approach and attention to detail.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys horse riding and spending time with her animals at her property.

Leticia Hill – Conveyancing

Leticia grew up on the Central Coast of New South Wales and has called Melbourne home since 2009. With a legal career spanning over two decades, Leticia has been employed in law firms in various capacities since 1996, developing a comprehensive understanding of legal practice and client service.


In 2023, she completed the Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing, further specialising in property law and the conveyancing process. Leticia is committed to providing clients with efficient, reliable, and professional assistance throughout all stages of property transactions.


Outside of work, Leticia is passionate about animal welfare and dedicates her spare time to volunteering at the local animal shelter, assisting in the rehabilitation of rescued animals. This commitment to community service reflects her compassionate and diligent approach to both professional and personal endeavours.
